Natural deodorant doesn’t have to be complicated and while a lot of thought has gone into this formula, it is made with simple ingredients you can trust. This deodorant is made to last all day and allow your body to do its thing. Deodorant is not an antiperspirant. Sweating is extremely important for the body to be able to rid itself of toxins.

Ingredient Highlights

Organic Shea Butter – rich in Vitamin A to support skin elasticity and packed with soothing and hydrating qualities without being greasy. Shea Bitter also helps keep the deodorant on your skin with a breathable layer while also allowing your body to sweat.

Organic Hemp Seed Oil – a balanced profile of Vitamin E for antioxidant power and Omega Fatty Acids 3, 6, and 9 profile soothing nourishment for skin that reduces irritation and encourages healthy skin biome and lipid barrier.

Non-Nano Zinc – we all know zinc is great for protecting noses from sunburn and baby bottoms from irritation, but did you know that it great at soothing irritated skin can killing unwanted bacteria on the skin that cause you to stink?

Magnesium – Magnesium is not only a vital mineral for the human body, but it also happens to make a wonderful deodorant. This form of magnesium is powdery and often found in milk of magnesia, so all those cool DIY face masks and primer recipes with milk of magnesia actually do have some basis in chemistry.

Aluminum Free Baking Soda – Naturally sourced from rocks as opposed to the harsher form typically available in stores, we use the least amount possible in this recipe to be effective while remaining gentle enough to not damage the skin.

Kaolin Clay – this special blend of clays is made to be activated by sweat and absorb it quickly with Kaolin and lock it away with bentonite, which also makes sure that the toxins absorbed stay with the clay and then wash off with it (instead of being re-absorbed into your body.)

Starch – we use a starch from the Amazon that has many different names, but was called Arrowroot by the indigenous people because it was used to absorb the poison from arrow wounds. I figure, if it is good enough to absorb poison, it can likely handle sweat. It also provides an almost silky feel
